A Cambodian Nature Film: Kingdom of Nature
85 minutes

Director: Daniel Roper-Jones
Country: Cambodia
North America Premiere

"A Cambodian Nature Film: The Kingdom of Nature" is the first high-quality nature film ever made for local audiences in Cambodia. Inspired by the Planet Earth series, this new film promotes a love of nature through positive storytelling. Education and awareness is badly needed in Cambodia, and there is little or no exposure to nature or conservation through education systems or media. This films is he first public awareness project from Fauna in Focus, a 501(c)3 non-profit that uses environmental education and wildlife media to promote wildlife conservation and inspire a love of nature in Cambodia. In this film we travel with local naturalist Mr. Samban Chea. Samban takes our cameras across this incredible Kingdom of Nature as we discover a host of endangered and critically endangered species and unique ecosystems. Along the way we stop to meet with local conservation and wildlife experts from many different organizations to learn about the work they do and promote the efforts of wildlife conservation projects in Cambodia.
